The objective of the course is for you to evolve an overview of both issues and practices related to the public administration. The course focuses on the traditions, environment, politics, and effect functions of public administration. COURSE OUTCOMES At the end of the course, student testament have present the ability to: (1) describe the major theories and means of public administration (2) beg off and distinguish the race between higher civil servants and policy-making officials (3) recognize the functions of public administration, such as decision making, accountability, and mental process valuati on in the public sector. Reading Assignments:Students are expected to read the hebdomadally assignments and to take part actively in discussion. 2. Tutorial interlock:Each student will be expected to accede and contribute to the discussion, simulation, and debate during the tutorial session. There will be a total of FOUR tutorial sessions and students will be grad ed on their contribution in tutorial activit! ies in the tutorials. 3. Case Memo:Each student will be expected to analyze FOUR cases and to discuss separately of the cases in detail in class or on the Moodle forum (total 5% of the memo grade).
